Cinnamon Pear Breakfast Chia

How do Food Network people keep their kitchens so spotless? I don’t understand!

I mean, half the people’s spices are alphabetized. Dishes vanish during commercial breaks. Cookie pans don’t have a single stain. chiapudding44

I would like to say that my kitchen is perfectly organized, but yeah no. It has…character ;)

This is the typical scene mid-photoshoot….

But the dishes and the chia spills are all worth it for that one picture :)

…and of course, for the recipe!

This chia pudding is cool, creamy, and full of fiber, protein, and super healthy fats. Cinnamon and pear sweeten the whole shebang and candied pecans top it off.

Cinnamon Pear Chia Pudding

Ingredients:

  • 2  heaped tablespoons chia seeds
  • 3/4 cup milk of choice (I used cashew milk)
  • 1 t. agave or sweetener of choice
  • 1 pear, cut into cubes
  • shakes of cinnamon
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 spoonful pumpkin (optional)

Directions:

1.) Mix chia seeds, milk, honey, innamon, and pumpkin in a bowl. Let sit for 15 minutes. Top with cinnamon, banana, pecans, and pear. Drizzle with more honey. This is even better if you make it the night before!

And yea – come on – whose kitchen really looks like that off of the food network? I am pretty organized, but it’s hard to keep neat & tidy when you start to make anything ;p
