Probably just the greatest thing ever…
I made them on Sunday for the fam. Here’s some Sunday scenes…
My mom sent me a pic of this baby zebra last night (she’s a vet!), and I had to share
And then there was the paninis….
- Ciabatta Loaf (I found a whole grain one- yummy!)
- 1 package greens such as spinach
- 2 large tomatoes
- 1 pack mozzerella cheese
- 2 chicken breasts
- balsamic vinegarette
- olive oil
It starts with getting your ingredients together…Zazu loves greens!
I’ve taught him well
Slice the tomatoes…
It’s always easy if you have everything laid out
Coat the chicken breasts in balsamic vinegarette, and then cook on the stovetop (over medium high heat) until done in the middle, flipping and checking occasionally. When they are done, (don’t give yourself food poisoning bleh!), take them off heat and let them rest for a few minutes. Slice.
Cut your ciabatta loaf in half vertically (aka hot-dog style cuz’ I’m 5 years old ) Rub with some oil. I added some garlic (totally optional).
Place on your panini press (if you don’t have one, you can place in an oiled pan over medium high heat with another pan on top of the panini to smoosh everything together. My computer is telling me smoosh is not a word haha.
Cut in half and share- or not haha!
