I had to share it again!
I have a really good 5 minute breakfast recipe for you guys today! Those are the best kind! Usually, my school day breakfast is good old toast and nut butter. It’s easy. Everyone in the fam likes it.
In fact, I guess everyone in the universe does, because there’s a toast song on youtube that has 57, 925 views Don’t ask how I found it haha! Here’s a lyric for you
“i get up in the mornin’ bout six AM,
have a little jelly have a little jam,
take a piece of bread put it in the slot,
push down the lever and the wires gets hot,
i get toast.”
Pretty clever, right?!
But even toast is time consuming in the morning when you compare it to overnight oats! In the morning, all you do is grab a spoon.
1 banana, sliced
1/2 cup plan rolled oats
1 heaped tablespoon almond butter or peanut butter
1/2 sc. good tasting protein powder (optional)
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
1/3 cup almondmilk
I love Maranatha Almond Butter!
Put all ingredients in a bowl or jar, mix well, and refrigerate overnight.
In the morning, put some toppings on it and that’s it!
Easy, delicious, healthy, and fast?
